 2010-07-06 : The Danish Pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai
As a part of the media facade project CAVI has, in collaboration with Center for Digital Urban Living, developed and implemented a design for the media facade of the Danish Pavilion at the EXPO 2010 exhibition in Shanghai.  2010-06-07 : The opening of CAVI's new 3D cinema
CAVI's new 3D cinema has this spring been renovated and equipped with new and up-to-date technology. So on Monday 21st of June at 15 o'clock CAVI invites to a presentation of the cinema, and where students who has followed the course "3D Interaction", will demonstrate some of the projects they have developed to the cinema - all in Unity 3D. The opening of the Cinema is also a goodbye to the old technology, where the old "super computer" Charybdis, who with its nine processors and several megabyte ram worked with advanced 3D graphics a long time before the turn of the millennium.

 2010-06-03 : Honeymoon at Athelas New Music Festival
In the current season of the Danish modern music festival Althelas New Music Festival in Copenhagen Signe Klejs modern interpretation of the opera, Honeymoon, is on for show. Honeymoon is an interactive opera presented in 3D stereo and experienced by only one person at a time. The opera is created by interaction designer Signe Klejs and composer Niels Rønsholt in cooperation with TEKNE Production, CAVI, and the Danish National.

 2010-04-28 : EXPO Shanghai 2010
CAVI has contributed in the development of the facade on the Danish pavilion at the world Exhibition in Shanghai, which is opening 1st. of May. Together with the architect group Bjarke Ingels Group, BIG, CAVI has designed the 50-meter long and 12-meter tall steel construction, which contains 3600 holes all installed with diode lights. In that way the pavilion becomes an enormous, circular media facade with big loose pixels with up to 627 pixels length and nine in height. [Read more] |
