Wayne Siegels interactive sound art piece Drowning, Burning is now arriving to "Skive Kunstmuseum" where it will be exhibited from June and throughout the summer.
With its anonymous look the big, black box does not quite show what it contains - when stepped upon it burst into a roaring inferno of sampled sounds of water and fire.
Drowning, Burning is supported and supervised by TEKNE produktion at CAVI.

Kvindemuseet in Aarhus has together with CAVI and the artist Signe Klejs made a 3D installation, which purpose is to make it possible for children and young ones to step into a virtual dimension. Based on the social net place for young people cyberhus.dk, Enter Ung 2010 is an installation where the young people can get together, and where adults can experience a little part of the young teen's Cyperspace.

 2009-11-09 : Jeppe Hein guests Katrinebjerg
CAVI has arranged that Jeppe Hein is visiting Katrinebjerg on November 17 at 14.30 in IT-Husets large auditorium. He will give a talk about the creative processes behind his work. Jeppe Hein is a Danish artist, who is on the very first steps of an international carrier, and was furthermore the funder of the well-known Karrierebar - a fusion between social life and art - in Copenhagen.

 2009-11-06 : Hyperkinetic Kayak by Jette Gejl in cooperation with Peter Møller Nielsen
CAVI's artist in residence Jette Gejl is exhibiting at Moesgaard Museum during the "Rethink - Contemporary Art and Climate Change" exhibition.
It is an interactive installation, which consists of a kayak, a virtual 3D landscape, which simulates the arctic ice ocean near Greenland and data from Asiaq - Greenlands feasibility studies - about the temperature in Greenland. Hyperkinetic Kayak is a three-dimensional "state of mind" on the experience of the great nature of Greenland and the consequences of the global warming. [Read more] |
