During the climate conference Beyond Kyoto, citizens of Aarhus engaged themselves in the struggle for large-scale climate improvements by using Climate on the Wall, an interactive generator of climate statements that used Ridehuset, a prominent building in the city centre, as a backdrop.
Climate on the Wall uses camera tracking at the sidewalk in front of the building to track when there is movement. Projectors display different words associated with climate and by using the camera tracking, by passers can now interact with the words and create sentences to show statements about the climate.
Climate on the Wall was produced by Digital Urban Living in collaboration with CAVI.
