Appointed ”National commission” by the Danish Ministry of Culture TEKNE Production is situated in the forefront of producing and developing digital art. TEKNE Productions aim is to produce, study and develop digital art and experiences, collecting and storing of knowledge. At TEKNE Production digital artists, producers of digital experiences are therefore working along with technicians and programmers in investigations of digital materials and new IT technologies. TEKNE Production is showing a way to work with digital materials, building up competence and know-how, embracing both artistic and technological positions.

Since TEKNE Production was established in 2007 the unit have been involved in several projects were the combination of digital solutions and art production have found new and innovative expressions. A opera singer’s voice has been turned into 3D graphic in real-time, a climate researchers data files has become multimedia art and an scenographers dream about high technology scenography have been realised.
